From the Netherlands and other parts of the world, the best way to get to our wedding location, is first to fly to Mexico City. From Amsterdam there are daily direct flights with KLM or Aeromexico.
From other cities you can also find direct flights to Mexico City with almost all big airlines.
Hacienda de Chiconcuac is located a 120 km from Mexico City, close to a city called Cuernavaca. Unfortunately, there is no good or direct public transport to arrive to the Hacienda from Mexico City.
For this reason, we will arrange transportation from Mexico City to the Hacienda for all our international guests. This shuttle bus will leave on Friday 14th December in the afternoon (time to be confirmed but something around 12 pm) from a centric neighborhood called Polanco (place to be confirmed, probably the hotel where most of our guests stay).
In case it is not possible for someone to be in Mexico City by Friday afternoon, please let us know and we will try to arrange additional transportation to the Hacienda on Friday night or Saturday early morning.
There will also be shuttle buses going back to Mexico City on Sunday afternoon (time to be confirmed).
Another option would be to rent a car and drive from Mexico City to the Hacienda. However, the traffic can be very intense and the Mexican driving style a bit chaotic.
Tip: don’t forget to have Mexican pesos in cash to pay the tolls (around 500 pesos for the roundtrip).
